Sanjay Kumar Das: Chairman
Sanjay is the founder and chairman of Melange Healthcare (P) Ltd. A seasoned Information Technology (IT) Management Professional & Non-Resident Indian from USA, he is an entrepreneur and a philanthropist.
Growing up in a remote village in Orissa, India, he has a strong commitment to improve the quality of village life. His successful rural youth initiatives have helped a number of poor meritorious students, to acquire higher education from top Indian university like JNU, New Delhi. In his first village improvement project he extended financial support to provide free drinking water supply, benefitting more than 170 families in his village.
He is a founding member of the Austin Hindu Temple and his latest initiative is to support a Charitable Hospital through Ramakrishna Mission at Umerkote, Orissa, India.
A university gold medalist in Physics, he also has a Diploma in Computer Science as well as Business Management. He is associated with organizations like Project Management Institute (PMI) and is a mentor for PMP students at PMI Austin Chapter.
Dr. Robert Gross, MD: Adviser to the Chairman
Born and grew up in the Kansas until his family moved to Denver, Colorado, near the end of World War II. After graduating from South Denver High School, he received a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Geneva College in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, going on to study medicine at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia.
Upon completing a general rotating internship at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, New York, Dr. Gross worked for the U.S. Public Health Indian Service in Arizona, finishing with the U.S. Coast Guard on patrol between Hawaii and Japan with three months of service. In 1961 he went into private practice, which included general medicine and specializations in sports and aviation medicine. Dr. Gross practiced emergency medicine for various contract companies at locations as needed, during his final 14 years of traditional practice.
Hippocrates said, "Let your food be your medicine and your medicine your food." Like Hippocrates, Dr. Gross believes that proper nutrition is what allows the body to heal itself. For the past 11 years, he has pursued this belief through personal studies in integrative/alternative concepts with an emphasis on glyonutritional health.
Mr. Haridas Mitra: Director (Finance)
A seasoned finance and accounting professional with expertise in financial accounting and audit procedures. A retired senior Audit officer of government of India, Mr. Mitra has a long and admirable track record of dealing with companies & government accounts.
Mr. J.N. Samantray: Director (Operations)
With decades of experience in Marketing with national and multinational companies of repute, makes Mr. Samantray a Pharmaceutical industry veteran. He is a keen planer, strategist and implementer with demonstrated abilities in devising marketing activities, accelerating market growth.
Proficient in management of a wide bandwidth of healthcare products, he has in-depth experience in strategic planning, business development, channel management and client relationship management.
Mr. Siddhant Nath: Director (Sales)
Mr. Nath is a dynamic sales professional with more than thirty years of in-depth experience in various national and multinational pharmaceutical companies in senior positions. His knowledge and expertise of the working of the pharmaceutical industry, managing business operations with key focus on developing and growing new business opportunities is very extensive. He has an excellent track record, in creating profitable business, by ensuring optimal utilization of resources and streamlining the working Sales and Operations Plans for enhanced operational effectiveness.
